My Story - My Desire to Become One of the Locals
Samer was born as the youngest of four children in his family of moderate means. He grew up in Damascus, Syria, and always dreamt of moving to the United States one day to live a life where everyone has an equal opportunity. As a child, he always imagined himself associating with Wall Street somehow and working in the investment world one day. As an immigrant, Samer always believed that working hard within the confines of a defined plan will lead him to his desired outcome.
Samer began his investment career in 1995 as a Financial Advisor with Dean Witter (which later became Morgan Stanley) in Cleveland, OH where he sharpened his fundamental skills in Finance & Investments.
In 2005, Samer joined JP Morgan Securities where he spent the next 15 years assisting clients in developing their personalized Financial & Investment plans and utilizing the various investment products and tools to assist in pursuing those plans. He believes investment goals are to be reviewed regularly to make the appropriate alterations as clients' needs and wants to evolve as they live.
Samer joined Stratos Wealth Partners in July 2020. He wanted to become a part of the “Supported Independent” model where he can still partner with a national Broker/Dealer for Custody and Clearing services, but still run his own business and have the freedom to truly become a local and familiar Fiduciary to his advisory clients away from any corporate restrictions.
Samer spends his downtime with his wife Luna and their two daughters Gia and Naya looking for adventures whether they are exploring new places in Cleveland or traveling throughout the US. They love to travel so they can continue to learn and maintain exposure.
Why invest?
The answer to this question is to believe that doing a bit more today
can bring a better tomorrow.
My views on investing are
best defined by the
following four quotes:

“When prosperity comes, do not use all of it.” ~Confucius
-
"You cannot escape the responsibility of tomorrow by evading it today.” ~Abraham Lincoln
-
“Fortune befriends the bold.” ~Emily Dickinson

"The most difficult thing is the decision to act, the rest is merely tenacity.” ~Amelia Earhart
